DIY Yarn Holder-
This was made with an empty Clorox wipe dispenser. Its covered with packing paper that I cork stamped & painted bows on. You definitely don’t have to make your own cover or even cover it at all but I think it would look pretty cute with some floral contact paper.
This is ridiculously, simply brilliant.
Even YOU can have your own handy dandy yarn holder! Why didn’t I think of this before!
Is it weird that I looked at this and went “But, the yarn will scrape against the plastic.” … Like, it must be bizarre that I worry about the yarn getting ruined or frizzy.

I am in love with the Sari Shawl in the July edition of Crochet Today! It is beautiful. I need to whip up something for a special friend’s birthday in two days…TWO DAYS….(gasp, panic). I thought that incorporating the leaf motif down the middle of a scarf might be pretty…so I modified the pattern.
Here is my progress so far.
